About Us

For A Cure Card Girl-DecemberNola Cooper started Classic Creations in 1995, after making invitations for her 2 year old's birthday party. After receiving compliments and requests from over half the invitees, she put her artistic and writing skills to work, took some courses, and soon word got around. Nola has done everything from designing stationery and other personalized products, to designing logos and websites for small businesses.

Cancer has touched Nola's life in many ways-she lost her Grandfather to Lung Cancer when she was a teen, and lost her dear Mother-In-Law to Ovarian Cancer when her oldest son was still a toddler.  In late 2002, after spending a year designing and developing products that would show her support for people who are fighting a daily battle with Breast Cancer, she launched her For A Cure line.  Eventually, Nola added many other ribbon colors to the note card line, as well as a "puzzle" design for Autism Awareness.

In 2007, she decided to move her For A Cure line to it's own domain, so that she can also work to help provide resources and inspiration along with her products.  During this move, she added a new service to her offering-Send A Note.   Customers can choose their ribbon color, personalize their card (or cards), and then Nola's company will hand write notes and mail them for the customer.  This service could prove very valuable to someone who is in treatment, or who has no time to send such notes.

Nola believes that we are on the brink of discovery when it comes to cancer, and feels that funding is the largest part of what holds us back.  She intends to do her part by donating a majority of the proceeds from her For A Cure Cards to many different research and education foundations in the United States.

What Sets Our Note Cards Apart from Others?
 • All of our stationery is designed, printed, and packaged in-house.

 • We take the time to confirm your personalization information to avoid costly mistakes.

 • We use only high quality papers manufactured by International Paper.

 • Our packaging is hand picked to specifically fit our stationery.

 • Our Note Cards are folded to 6 1/4" X 4 1/2" with an embossed panel on the front, bright white and blank inside. Unlike many other stationery developers, who use 8 1/2" x 11" card stock and then cut it down to fit, we use Park Avenue fold over note cards with matching envelopes.
